GCU Lahore, one of Pakistan’s most prestigious and historic educational institutions, has announced multiple high-level administrative positions for the month of August 2025. Applications are invited from highly qualified, experienced, and visionary professionals for the following three key posts, each with a three-year non-extendable contract under the provisions of the GCU Lahore Act 2002.

🔹 1. Registrar (BS-20)

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (3 Years)
Age Limit: 40–50 Years
Location: GCU Lahore
Pay Scale: BS-20 (as per Punjab Govt. rules)
Vacancy Type: One (01)

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Ph.D. in any discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
  OR

• Master’s/MPhil (minimum 18 years of education) from an HEC-recognized institution with 18 years of experience in administration/teaching/research in a public or private sector university or educational institution.

📌 Preferred Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of university administration, academic regulations, and strategic planning.

• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with higher education governance and statutory bodies like the Senate, Syndicate, Academic Council, etc.

🔹 2. Treasurer (BS-20)

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (3 Years)
Age Limit: 35–50 Years
Pay Scale: BS-20
Vacancy Type: One (01)

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Ph.D. in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Auditing, or Economics from an HEC-recognized university with 8 years of post-PhD experience in a relevant field.
  OR

• Master’s/MPhil (18 years of education) in relevant fields with 18 years of relevant experience, including financial planning, budgeting, audit, and treasury management.

📌 Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Strong understanding of public sector financial systems, PPRA rules, budgeting procedures, and audit processes.

• Certifications such as CA, ACCA, or ICMA will be highly preferred.

• Proficiency in ERP or financial software and data-driven financial analysis.

🔹 3. Controller of Examinations (BS-20)

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (3 Years)
Age Limit: 40–50 Years
Pay Scale: BS-20
Vacancy Type: One (01)

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Ph.D. in any discipline from an HEC-recognized university with 8 years of relevant experience in examination management.
  OR

• Master’s/MPhil (18 years of education) with 18 years of examination-related experience in a reputable academic institution or examination body.

📌 Preferred Skills & Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in exam policy formulation, scheduling, confidentiality, and results management.

• Ability to lead large teams, coordinate with faculties, and ensure the smooth conduct of examinations.

• Expertise in digital exam management systems and academic integrity procedures.
