📌 List of Vacancies at HEC – August 2025

1️⃣ Director (Automation) – BPS-19 (Regular)

• Max Age: 50 years

• No. of Posts: 01

• Quota: Sindh (Rural)

• Qualifications: 16 years of education (BS/MSc) in IT / Computer Science / BCS / BCE / Electrical or Telecom Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.

• Experience: 12 years in the relevant field in BPS-17 or equivalent in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous bodies or reputable national/international organizations.

2️⃣ Director (Network) – BPS-19 (Regular)

• Max Age: 50 years

• No. of Posts: 01

• Quota: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

• Same qualifications and experience as Director (Automation).

3️⃣ Deputy Director (Software Development) – BPS-18 (Regular)

• Age Limit: 30 to 45 years

• No. of Posts: 01

• Quota: Punjab

• Qualifications:

  • Master’s in IT / Computer Science + 3 years’ experience in BPS-17, OR

  • BCS + 5 years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-17.

4️⃣ Assistant Director (System Management) – BPS-17 (Regular)

• Max Age: 35 years

• No. of Posts: 02

• Quota: Merit = 1, Balochistan = 1

• Qualifications: 16 years of education in IT / Computer Sciences / Electrical / Telecom Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.

5️⃣ Assistant Director (ERP/SAP) – BPS-17 (Regular)

• Max Age: 35 years

• No. of Posts: 01

• Quota: Merit

• Qualifications:

  • 16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, Software, or Computer Engineering.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in BASIS / ABAP / HCM / FI / MM.

  • Preference for candidates with SAP certification or practical SAP integration experience.

6️⃣ Regional Coordinator – PPS-09 (Project-Based)

Project: Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme

• Salary: Rs. 306,250/month (All Inclusive)

• Max Age: 50 years

• Quota: Punjab = 1, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa = 1

• Qualifications:

  • 16 years (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in Business Admin / IT / CS

  • 7 years relevant experience, including 5 years in project management in the Public or Private sector.

7️⃣ Project Director – PPS-09 (Project-Based)

Project: Faculty Development Program for Pakistani Universities

• Salary: Rs. 306,250/month (All Inclusive)

• Max Age: 55 years

• No. of Posts: 01

• Quota: Merit

• Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (minimum 2nd Division)

  • 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of managerial experience post-final degree in public/private institutions of good repute.

• Tests will be held at the nearest locations of applicants: Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, and Peshawar.
