The Independent System & Market Operator of Pakistan (ISMO) is a State-owned Enterprise (SOE) established by the Government of Pakistan to lead the country’s sustainable energy future. ISMO performs three core functions vital to Pakistan’s energy sector:

Detailed Eligibility Criteria – Independent System & Market Operator

Executive Director (Planning) – 01 Post

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering.

• Degree must be from a Local or International University duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.

Experience:

• At least 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

• Experience must be gained in local Public/Private or International Organizations.

• Must include 03 years of experience in Senior Management Roles or as Head of Department.

Additional Requirement:

• Candidates must comply with the Fit & Proper Criteria in terms of Section 16 of the SOE Act 2023.

• This is without prejudice to other specific requirements contained in the advertisement.

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering.

• Degree must be from a Local or International University duly recognized by HEC, Pakistan.

Experience:

• Experience must be in local Public/Private or International Organizations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with computer-based programs, particularly PSSE software.

• Expertise in transmission planning and power system studies, such as:
