Role Overview: Central Power Purchasing Agency

 Manager Technical

You will:

• Provide technical leadership in power procurement, grid operations, and energy settlement processes.

• Analyze power generation data, manage contracts with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Lead technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments in power procurement.

• Coordinate with national grid authorities, DISCOs, and power generators to optimize power purchase agreements.

Ideal Candidate:

• 12+ years of experience with significant exposure to power generation, transmission, or energy procurement.

• Strong understanding of Pakistan’s power sector, market mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.

• Leadership skills with a strategic, analytical mindset.

 Deputy Manager Technical

You will:

• Support technical operations related to power scheduling, billing, and settlement.

• Assist in data analysis, reporting, and monitoring of power supply and demand patterns.

• Participate in technical audits, performance evaluations of power plants, and contract management.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and transparent power procurement processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• 6+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in the power sector.

• Proficient in technical reporting, data analysis, and energy sector software/tools.

• Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
