Position: Flight Engineer

ASPL is looking for a highly motivated Flight Engineer to support the development, testing, and deployment of autonomous UAV systems. This role is perfect for fresh graduates or early-career engineers passionate about drones, AI, and aviation technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Experience with open-source quadcopters/drones

• Familiarity with Pixhawk/Ardupilot systems

• Exposure to ROS, computer vision, and sensor fusion

• Hands-on experience in multirotor or fixed-wing UAV projects

• Passion for robotics and autonomous systems

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Creative, autonomous, and eager to learn

Key Responsibilities

• Work with UAVs, drones, Gazebo, ROS, SITL, etc.

• Handle drone electronics and hardware

• Develop and execute autonomous flight plans

• Collaborate on hardware/software co-design

• Integrate AI/ML models into UAV control systems

• Contribute to documentation (requirements, design, testing)

• Debug and test system implementations
