Job Overview

UMT is seeking an experienced Controller of Examinations to lead and oversee the university’s examination system. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of all examination-related activities, maintaining the highest standards of fairness and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Development	Develop and implement fair, transparent, and efficient examination policies.
Examination Scheduling	Prepare and publish the annual examination calendar; resolve scheduling conflicts.
Confidentiality Management	Oversee secure printing, distribution, and confidentiality of question papers and materials.
Result Processing	Supervise evaluation, result compilation, and timely announcement of results.
Compliance & Accreditation	Ensure adherence to university policies and accreditation standards.
Misconduct Investigation	Investigate and address examination-related irregularities.
Stakeholder Collaboration	Work with faculty and departments to maintain assessment integrity.
Query Resolution	Address student and faculty queries regarding exams and results.
Technology Integration	Implement tech-driven solutions (online assessments, digital records).
Convocation Oversight	Organize and manage university convocation and merit award ceremonies.
Team Leadership	Lead the examination department for high performance and continuous improvement.

Educational Requirements & Experience

Criteria	Details
Education	MS/MPhil from an HEC-recognized university
Experience	10–15 years in examination management (public/private university/college)
Age Limit	Maximum 55 years
Skills	Leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, MS Office proficiency, and report writing
