About the Strategic Planning Unit (SPU)

The Strategic Planning Unit under the Communication & Works Department, Government of the Punjab, is responsible for the planning, design, and execution of key public infrastructure and architectural projects. The SPU ensures that development initiatives are aligned with modern engineering standards, sustainability goals, and the strategic vision of Punjab. Role Insight: Communication and Works Department

Professionals hired will be involved in:

• Planning & Design of public infrastructure, health facilities, and architectural projects.

• Engineering Oversight for structural, electrical, MEP, and conservation works.

• Technical Support, including 3D animation, graphic design, drafting, and documentation.

• Administration & IT, including system network management and accounting.

Eligibility Overview: Communication and Works Department

• Relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees in Engineering, Architecture, Design, IT, Finance, or related fields.

• Experience requirements vary by position (managerial, mid-level, and assistant roles available).

• Punjab domicile is mandatory for all positions.
