Position Details

Qualification Requirements

• Essential: First class in B.E. (Civil) OR MBA in relevant field (Planning, Management, Finance)

• Education: 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution

• Academic Record: No third division in the entire academic career

• Additional: Equivalent qualifications as per HEC standards

Experience Requirements

For BPS-20 Consideration

• Minimum 17 years of experience in BPS-17 or equivalent position

• Experience in a university/higher education institution/government/semi-government/autonomous body

• Preferably in the public sector

For BPS-19 Consideration

• Minimum 10 years of experience in BPS-17 or equivalent position

• Same sector preferences apply

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for university development

• Oversee the preparation of development projects and schemes

• Secure funding from relevant authorities

• Manage annual work plans and cash flow

• Monitor and evaluate ongoing development projects

• Liaise with government bodies, including HEC

• Foster collaborations with other universities

• Compile the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP)

• Prepare Annual Development Program (ADP)

• Appraise development proposals and schemes

• Submit progress reports to the university administration

• Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 4,000 (non-refundable)

• Educational certificates

• Experience certificates

• Domicile certificate

• CNIC copy

• NOC (for government employees)

3: Submit Application

• Send to Registrar’s office by 10th September 2025

• No extensions for postal delays

Important Instructions

• Only Sindh domicile holders are eligible

• Government employees must apply through the proper channel

• Incomplete applications will be rejected

• The university reserves the right to cancel the position

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview

• No TA/DA for the interview process

• Canvassing will lead to disqualification
