🛫 PAF 2025 Commission Categories & Courses

🟢 Permanent Commission (PC)

1. 160 GD (P) Course – General Duty Pilot

   • Eligibility: FSc Pre-Engineering/Pre-Medical/Computer Science with 65% marks

   • Age Limit: 16 to 22 years (as of 15 April 2026)

   • Gender: Male & Female

   • Height: 5’4’’ (both)

   • Degree Awarded: BS Aviation Sciences and Management

2. 106 Aeronautical Engineering Course

   • Qualification: FSc (Pre-Engineering) with 65% marks

   • Training Outcome: BE Aerospace / Avionics

3. 116 Air Defence Course

   • Qualification: Same as GD(P)

   • Degree Awarded: BS in Aviation Management

4. 35 Admin & Special Duties Course

   • Qualification: FSc or A-Levels (Minimum 60%)

   • Degree: BS in Aviation Management

5. 18 Logistics Course

   • Eligibility: FSc with 60% marks (Pre-Engg/Pre-Medical)

   • Degree: BS in Aviation Management

🔵 Short Service Commission (SSC / SPSSC)

1. 05 GD (P) SSC Course

   • Age Limit: 21 to 24 years

   • Eligibility: Students with at least 6 out of 8 semesters completed in BE/BSc (Aerospace/Avionics/Engg)

2. Education Branch (136 CSC SPSSC / SSC)

   • Age: 22 to 30 years

   • Qualification: MA/MSc in:

     • English

     • International Relations

     • Physics

     • Psychology

     • Computer Science

     • HRM

     • Islamic Studies

3. IT Branch (136 CSC SSC)

   • Age Limit: 20 to 30 years

   • Eligibility: BS / MS in:

     • Software Engineering

     • Cyber Security

     • Data Science

     • AI & ML

     • Computer Systems / Engineering

4. Legal Branch (JAG – 136 CSC SSC)

   • Age Limit: 30 to 35 years

   • Qualification: LLB / LLM (Minimum CGPA: 2.5)

5. MET Branch (136 CSC SSC)

   • Age: 20 to 25 years

   • Education: BS / MS in:

     • Meteorology

     • Physics

     • Mathematics

6. Accounts Branch (136 CSC SSC)

   • Age Limit: 20 to 30 years

   • Qualification: BBA / MBA / M.Com / ACCA / CA / CFA / BS Accounting & Finance

2. Computerized Initial Tests – Intelligence + Academic (based on applied branch)

3. Initial Medical & Interview

4. Psychological Assessment

5. Final Interview at Air Headquarters

6. Final Medical Exam (CMH / PAF Hospital)

7. Training at PAF Academy Risalpur or Relevant Institutes

❗ Ineligibility Criteria

Candidates will be ineligible if they:

• Are rejected twice by ISSB / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ

• Were dismissed or removed from any Government service or Armed Forces

• Have falsified documents

• Are you married below 18 years

• Are medically unfit as per PAF standards

• Hold dual nationality (must surrender foreign citizenship)
