📡 Telecommunication Wing – Technical Cadre Recruitment

The Punjab Police Department has officially announced multiple vacancies in its Telecommunication Wing for Technical Cadre roles. The recruitment includes Driver Constables, Lady Constables, Mechanics, and Technicians. Both male and female candidates with Matric qualifications are encouraged to apply.

These roles play a vital part in the operational efficiency of the Punjab Police’s communications and field operations.

📋 Vacant Positions & Criteria

Below is the breakdown of available positions, eligibility, and physical standards:

🔧 1. Technician

• Gender: Male

• Age Limit: 18–30 Years

• Qualification: Matriculation with a relevant Technical Diploma (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Hardware, etc.)

• Experience: Preferred but not mandatory

• Height: Minimum 5’7”

• Chest: 33” (normal) – 34.5” (expanded)

• Other: Must clear skill/technical test

🛠️ 2. Mechanic

• Gender: Male

• Age Limit: 18–30 Years

• Qualification: Matric + Professional Certificate or Diploma in Auto Mechanic, Electronics, Electrical Work, etc.

• Height: 5’7”

• Chest: 33”–34.5”

• Experience: Must demonstrate relevant field experience

• Note: Trade test may be conducted

👮 3. Driver Constable

• Gender: Male

• Age Limit: 18–22 Years

• Qualification: Matriculation

• License: Valid LTV License with 2 years of verifiable driving experience

• Height: 5’7”

• Chest: 33”–34.5”

• Other: Driving test required

👮‍♀️ 4. Lady Constable

• Gender: Female

• Age Limit: 18–22 Years

• Qualification: Matriculation (Minimum 2nd Division)

• Height: 5’2”

• Other: Physically and medically fit, no written test

✅ Eligibility Rules & Quotas

• Domicile: Punjab Province

• Age Relaxation:

  • Retired Army Personnel: Up to 40 years

  • Govt. Servants: As per the Punjab Govt. Rules

• Reserved Quotas:

  • 15% for Females

  • 5% for Minorities

  • 10% for Ex-Servicemen

• Criminal Record: Candidates must not have any FIR or court case

• Medical & Physical Fitness: Mandatory for all candidates

• Govt. Employees: Must attach NOC with the application
