General Eligibility Criteria for All Applicants:
- Residency Requirement:
- Applicants must be Pakistani citizens and reside in Pakistan.
- Age Requirement:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old. If the applicant is below 18, a guardian or parent must submit the application on their behalf.
- Proof of Financial Need:
- Applicants must provide evidence of financial hardship as mentioned in financial aid form. This can include, but is not limited to:
- Copy of the applicant’s CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) or B-form for minors, along with the guardian’s CNIC.
- Pay slips or any documents proving current employment status or lack thereof. The maximum monthly income should be no more than fifty thousand.
- Latest utility bills (electricity, gas, water) as evidence of the household’s living conditions.
- Rent agreement, if applicable, or ownership documents for housing.
- Applicants will be prioritized based on financial vulnerability, with preference given to those with no or minimal income sources.

Specific Eligibility Criteria:
- Medical Needs Support:
- Medical Diagnosis Proof:
- A valid and recent medical diagnosis from a certified doctor or hospital must be submitted.
- The diagnosis report should clearly state the medical condition, treatment recommendations, and expected expenses.
- Income Threshold:
- Priority is given to families whose monthly household income falls below a specified limit (defined by AL-KAUSAR TRUST’s financial assessment criteria).
- Supporting Documents:
- Hospital or clinic bills.
- Prescription for medications or detailed cost estimates for treatments such as surgeries, chemotherapy, or chronic illness management.
- Verification:
- A representative from AL-KAUSAR TRUST may reach out to verify the claims by contacting medical professionals, visiting the applicant’s residence, or obtaining additional information to ensure authenticity.
- Ration Support:
- Lack of Stable Income:
- Applicants must demonstrate insufficient or no consistent source of income. This can include unemployed individuals, daily wage earners, or families relying on irregular earnings.
- Household Size:
- Families with a higher number of dependents and limited or no breadwinners will be prioritized.
- Required Documentation:
- A declaration of income, supported by any existing documents such as job termination letters, affidavits of unemployment, or community verification letters.
- Details of family members and dependents, with ages and relationships, to understand household needs.
- Verification:
- On-site visits or verification through community leaders, neighbourhood representatives, or local religious leaders may be conducted to verify claims.
- Household Expenses:
- Sudden Financial Crisis:
- Applicants facing unforeseen financial crises, such as a sudden loss of employment, death of the primary earner, serious illness of a family member, or other emergencies, will be given preference.
- Debt or Rent Proof:
- Supporting documents such as debt agreements, eviction notices, or evidence of significant overdue payments related to essential household needs.
- Income Verification:
- Detailed documentation on monthly expenses and all sources of household income must be disclosed.
- Verification Process:
- AL-KAUSAR TRUST’s representatives may conduct inquiries through local community visits, discussions with landlords, or neighborhood-level verifications to confirm the applicant’s situation.
Additional Conditions:
- Verification: All information and documentation will be verified by AL-KAUSAR TRUST before financial assistance is provided.
- Authenticity Clause: Any falsified or misleading information provided in the application will lead to disqualification from all AL-KAUSAR TRUST programs.
- Review & Approval Process: Applications may undergo multiple levels of review, including evaluation by a committee or consultation with medical/social experts to ensure fairness and aid prioritization.
